The South African Deaf Rugby Association is an associate member of the SA Rugby Union, and a registered PBO (PBO 930067312) and NPO (226-833 NPO).
Our primary purpose is to support and create opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing men and women to have the chance to play rugby, at both an inter-provincial level and internationally.
The flagship event for SA Deaf Rugby is the Stones Cup – an annual inter-provincial tournament featuring the best players from across the country. The tournament was named after the founding President Tim Stones, in recognition of his services in growing the game.
